Les has independently received a nomination in the "best kept lice" category of the annual Battersea Dogs Home Animal Hygiene Awards. Les is reported to have high hopes of taking the title following news that 'Satan', the bull-mastiff from Tower Hamlets who pipped him at the post last year, has been exterminated following an ill-considered attack on a patrol of local dog-wardens.
