To install ALP
please insert the CD in to your CD-ROM drive. Setup should begin automatically. If it does not*, please do the following:

On the 'start menu', click 'Run'

Click 'Browse'
·
Select your CD-ROM drive with the ALP CD in it
·
Select the program file pre_inst.exe
This will begin the setup procedure. It is important to run this program and not any others on the CD or the setup may fail.
Please note: Unlike other educational software, ALP does NOT require the CD to run. Once installed please remove the CD and keep it in a safe place as your backup copy. If you re-insert the ALP CD, the installation will just begin again!
Please note: If you are installing on Win NT or XP you must have Windows administrator privileges to install
Once installed, you can run ALP, by clicking the icon on the start menu or the desktop.
* Your Auto-Insert-Notification on your CD-ROM has been disabled
