Unlike administrators, students must log-in to ALP but cannot change their settings or section permissions. Administrators must manually edit each student's section permissions to define which ALP animations they can use.
A student can only log-in and run an animation. To change a user flagged as a student to an administrator, tick the 'administrator' checkbox in the user's account settings.
If a user is already logged in and needs to have access to a new section, a tutor can use the screen unlocking facility to quickly log-in and change the student's permissions, without logging the student out first.
