How to setup a game of FISA Perudo Santaba

Creating a player profile
- your player name - type in your name if you are a new player
- your player password - enter the password you wish to protect your profile with (and record it somewhere)
- your preferred colour - choose a preferred colour. Where possible you will use dice of this colour.
- adjusting your colour mid-game - if two players share a colour the adjudicator will change the latter players play-colour. This can be modified by clicking the adjust colour button during the game
Setting up a game
- Hosting a game - if you host a game you need to inform players of your IP address and port setting. This will be shown in the chat box once you confirm you wish to host a game by clicking Ok.
- Joining a game - you will need the host's IP address and port setting and you may need to amend any firewalls between you and the host to accept traffic and your port settings.
Setting the game mode
When you start the game, at the top of the screen, you can adjust the 'Game mode' with the toolbar button to one of the following:
- Tutorial mode - the game is played tranparently and *all* calls that can be made are highlighted in an appropriate players colour
- Beginner mode - the game is played semi-tranparently the more advanced calls are highlighted in an appropriate players colour as they become available. Doodoo and Oddball however are not.
- Advanced mode (FISA tournaments) - professional tournaments are played in this mode. No help is given. Players play for FISA ranks and matchpoints.
Starting the game
When all the players have joined, click the start game toolbar button to begin play.
