Mangobot network set-up guide   

To install Mangobot on a network please follow the steps below:

1. Choose the best machine to become the Mangobot upgrade server (MUS). This PC must be able to connect to the internet. It must also be accessible from all PCs that are to have Mangobot installed.
2. Download and install Mangobot on the designated MUS.
3. Install all of the Mangolab products that you wish to keep updated on the designated MUS, run each application and register each product. Networked copies of Mangobot will only support Mangolab products that are installed on the MUS.
4. Ensure that all client PCs that are to use Mangolab products have network drives mapped to the designated MUS.
5. Install your Mangolab products & Mangobot on each client PC.
6. The first time that Mangobot runs on each client PC, Mangobot should inform you that network updating is supported. If not, check that a network drive is mapped to the designated MUS, select settings, check for network drive to repoint the client PC to the MUS.

Please remember to:

• Add Mangobot as internet-authorised software to any firewall you have running on your designated MUS.
• Install, run and where appropriate register any new Mangolab software on the MUS (or Mangobot will not support the product on the client PCs).
